I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford’s Center for Turbulence Research (CTR), where I work with Prof. Beverley McKeon on experimental investigations of turbulent heat transfer over rough surfaces and porous interfaces.
My research sits at the intersection of fluid mechanics, thermal engineering, and surface design. I build custom experimental systems — modular heated-wall test sections, cold-wire anemometry rigs, and IR thermography setups — to capture the physics that simulations miss.
Before Stanford, I earned my Ph.D. from USC (advisor: Prof. Mitul Luhar). I also hold a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering Pune, India.
Research Interests: Wall-bounded turbulence and boundary layer dynamics, turbulent flow over rough and complex surfaces, convective heat and mass transfer, wind tunnel experimentation, non-intrusive optical diagnostics (PIV, IR thermography, cold-wire anemometry), flow control using metamaterials, large-scale data analysis, data-driven modeling.
