Multiphysics optimization of porous microstructures via Bayesian optimization and CFD.

Built parameterized OpenFOAM + Bayesian optimization workflow in Python that automates simulation setup, execution, and post-processing across 500+ runs to explore high-dimensional geometry spaces.

Identified non-intuitive porous microstructure designs from 4 baseline topologies; mapped permeability–geometry response surfaces and quantified ~20% performance sensitivity to subtle topological features.
